Creag an Dromain, Sasaig (2006)

The client’s brief was for a home that would architecturally fit in with neighbouring houses on South Skye and that would be spacious enough to display the collection of furniture from their Edinburgh townhouse.

The client wanted a lot of oak to be used throughout the house - for built-in furniture, shelving and flooring. The kitchen, the utility room and the sunroom are contained in a rear extension; a large lobby provides storage space away from the main body of the house and living area.
