Dualchas
"We believe that architecture requires storytelling: a connection to the past, and a vision for our future. It is the story of the landscapes and communities we work in, and what connects us to a place."

Three projects by Dualchas have been short-listed in this year’s Scottish Design Awards.
Dualchas is celebrating success at the recent Highlands and Islands Architects Association (HIAA) awards. The Highland Cinema in Fort William picked up the top prize for Place Making, and was also commended in the Best Project Overall category, with the judges commenting that it was “a transformational project which has created a vibrant sense of place”.
Celebrated Scottish photographer Richard Gaston is part way through a commission to photograph a selection of Dualchas projects through the seasons, some of which will feature in upcoming books and magazines.
