We design thoughtful, place-responsive architecture for people and organisations who care about the quality of the built environment.
Working with private clients, housing associations, community groups, developers and businesses, we guide projects from first idea through to completion. We see design as a collaborative process with our clients, while leading the wider consultant team to bring clarity and direction as projects develop.
Our role is not only to design well, but to bring confidence to the process. By shaping the brief carefully, aligning design with budget from the outset and identifying risks early, we help clients navigate design development, planning and construction with assurance.
Our work is informed by a close understanding of context, materials, spatial qualities and climate. Sustainability is considered from the outset, influencing how buildings are sited and formed, how they use energy and natural resources, and the materials and construction methods we choose. We look to reduce environmental impact while creating durable, adaptable buildings that will be valued and cared for over the long term.
From our studios in Glasgow and on the Isle of Skye, we work across Scotland and throughout the UK, combining thoughtful design with careful coordination and management to deliver buildings that respond to their place, their environmental responsibilities and our clients’ ambitions.
