The clients at 'Seaview' sought to sensitively develop their site with a high-quality, understated design that maintains a strong relationship with the surrounding landscape. Located in the heart of Teangue, the plot is well screened from the roadside by mature planting, while remaining visually prominent from the shoreline.

The design responds to the site by keeping built forms low in profile and modest in scale, ensuring the proposal sits comfortably within both its immediate boundaries and the wider context. The scheme is broken into three distinct volumes—an open-plan living space, a bedroom wing, and a separate studio block—arranged around an informal, sheltered courtyard to create a sense of enclosure and connection to the outdoors.
